The SN74HC540DWE4 is a high-speed CMOS device from Texas Instruments, belonging to the 74HC series. It's a 10-bit parallel-in/parallel-out (PIPO) shift register with three-state outputs, designed for operation in a wide voltage range from 2V to 6V.
