The CY74FCT240CTSOCTE4 is an octal buffer/line driver IC from Cypress Semiconductor. Designed for memory address driving, clock distribution, and bus-oriented transmission/reception, it delivers speed and drive capability comparable to its bipolar counterparts while minimizing power consumption. This device features Ioff circuitry that disables outputs during partial power-down conditions to prevent backflow current through the chip.
