The DS2480B+T&R is a serial-to-1-Wire interface chip from Maxim Integrated, designed to operate within a voltage range of 4.5V to 5.5V and over a temperature range of -40°C to +85°C. It comes in an SOP8 package and provides a direct connection between a UART and the 1-Wire bus, supporting both standard and high-speed modes. This component facilitates communication with various 1-Wire devices such as sensors and memory chips, and is available through authorized distributors in original or new condition, packaged on tape and reel for automated assembly processes.
