The MCP2551-I/SN is a high-speed CAN transceiver by Microchip Technology, compliant with the ISO 11898 standard for physical layer requirements in CAN bus systems. It supports data rates up to 1 Mbps and is suitable for both 12 V and 24 V vehicle and industrial applications. The device offers differential transmit and receive capabilities, external slew rate control for reduced RFI emissions, dominant state detection, and low current standby operation.
