The SP485EEN-L/TR is a half-duplex RS-422/RS-485 transceiver manufactured by MaxLinear, formerly EXAR. This 8-pin SOIC150MIL package device operates with a single 4.75 to 5.25 V power supply and supports data rates up to 10Mbps. It features a low receiver input bias current, a receiver hysteresis of 20mV, and is designed for surface mount (SMT) applications. Compliant with RoHS and Lead-Free standards, the SP485EEN-L/TR is suitable for long-distance, multi-drop communication systems in industrial environments with a temperature range of -40°C to +85°C.
