The MAX31855RASA+T is a high-performance integrated circuit for temperature measurement using thermocouples such as K, J, N, T, or E types. It incorporates cold-junction compensation and employs a precision delta-sigma ADC to convert the thermocouple signal into digital data with a 14-bit resolution. The chip communicates via a SPI interface and offers readings accurate down to 0.25°C, supporting a wide temperature range from below 0°C up to +1800°C. This enhanced version likely builds upon the original MAX31855 with additional features or optimizations for specific applications.
