The NCP3066DR2G is an adjustable frequency step-down switching regulator designed for use in portable electronic devices. It features a low RDS(on) internal switch, high efficiency, and current mode control with fast transient response. The device also has built-in soft-start to limit the inrush current at startup, as well as thermal shutdown and short circuit protection for added reliability. It comes in a compact SOT-23 package making it ideal for space-constrained applications.
