The NCL30085BDR2G is an integrated circuit (IC) developed by ON Semiconductor, specifically designed as a low-dropout linear regulator with high output current capability of up to 850mA. It features a dropout voltage of only 70mV at full load and operates over an input supply range of 2.7V to 6V. The device also incorporates thermal shutdown, current limiting and safe area compensation for added protection. Additionally, it comes in a compact SOT-23 package making it suitable for use in space-constrained applications.
