"AT24MAC402-SSHM-T" is a combined EEPROM and IEEE 802.15.4 MAC Address Serial Memory device produced by Atmel Corporation. With a total storage capacity of 4kbits, it consists of two separate memory banks: one for storing user data organized as 512 x 8 bits and another dedicated to storing IEEE 802.15.4 MAC addresses organized as 64 x 16 bits. Both banks communicate through the popular I2C two-wire interface and operate within a broad supply voltage range from 1.7V to 5.5V. This device also incorporates features such as Page Write for up to 16 bytes at once, Write Protect functionality for data security, and a unique 64-bit serial number for identification purposes. Supplied in a surface mount SOIC package, it's ideal for use in wireless sensor networks, home automation systems, and other Internet-of-Things (IoT) applications.
