The TPS3820-50QDBVRQ1 is a supervisory circuit, designed by Texas Instruments, that monitors system power supplies and asserts a reset signal to microprocessors or digital systems when an out-of-tolerance condition occurs. It has a fixed threshold voltage of 4.95V with accurate ±1% tolerance. The device features a push-pull output stage capable of sourcing/sinking up to 6mA and an open-drain output option for wired-OR applications. Additionally, it offers a manual reset input and a watchdog timer for added functionality. It comes in a small SOT-23 package making it ideal for space-constrained designs.
