The TPS3840DL20DBVR is a microprocessor supervisory circuit by Texas Instruments, designed to monitor system power supplies and provide reliable reset signals for microprocessors, microcontrollers, or digital signal processors (DSPs). It features a low supply current of 40μA and a push-pull output stage with open drain option. The device operates over a wide input voltage range from 1.6V to 5.5V and has a precision threshold accuracy of ±1%. Its RESET timeout period is adjustable from approximately 16ms to 700ms via an external capacitor. Additionally, the TPS3840DL20DBVR comes in a SOT-23 package making it suitable for space-constrained applications.
