The TPS3838J25DBVR is a supervisory circuit, also known as a watchdog timer, from Texas Instruments. It monitors system voltages and provides reliable reset signals to microprocessors or DSPs when these voltages drop below safe levels. The device has an adjustable threshold voltage of 2.4V to 5.5V and a low quiescent current of only 60nA, making it suitable for battery-powered applications. It comes in a small SOT-23 package with a DBV (lead-free) environmental classification.
