The SN74ALS561ADWG4 is a 4-bit synchronous binary counter fabricated by Texas Instruments. This device features a compact DGG4 package and operates with standard CMOS logic levels. It provides four cascaded flip-flops that count in binary sequence upon receipt of synchronous clock inputs, with the QD output representing the most significant bit. Additionally, it includes an Output Enable (OE) pin for high-impedance control and a Carry-Out (CO) signal that is synchronized with the clock.
