The SN74ACT244DWE4 is a high-speed CMOS Octal Buffer/Line Driver from Texas Instruments. It consists of two 4-bit sections with separate output enables (OE). When OE is low, the device transparently transfers non-inverted data from A inputs to Y outputs. At a high OE level, outputs are tri-stated for bus contention-free operation. Packaged in a TSSOP (Thin Shrink Small Outline Package), it's designed for improved performance in applications like memory address drivers, clock drivers, and bus-oriented systems, ensuring proper high-impedance states during power-up/down with an external pull-up resistor on OE pin.
