The SN74ACT240DWRE4 is a Texas Instruments-manufactured octal buffer/line driver designed for improved performance and density in 3-state memory address drivers, clock drivers, and bus-oriented receivers and transmitters. This device consists of four independent buffers with separate output enable (OE) inputs per bank. When OE is low, it transparently passes non-inverted data from the A inputs to the Y outputs; when OE is high, the outputs become high-impedance.
