The SN74HCT244DWRE4 is a buffer/line driver manufactured by Texas Instruments (TI). This octal device, housed in a DW package, consists of two independent 4-bit buffers with individual output enables (OE). When OE\ is low, it transparently transfers non-inverted data from the A inputs to the Y outputs. When OE\ is high, the outputs are tri-stated, making them high-impedance. It's designed to enhance performance and density for applications such as bus-oriented receivers/transmitters, clock drivers, and three-state memory address drivers.
