The CD74HC564M is a high-speed CMOS logic device containing eight D-type flip-flops with three-state, inverting outputs. It's fabricated using silicon-gate CMOS technology and offers low power consumption while driving up to 15 input channel loads. The device operates at voltage levels from 2V (minimum) to 6V (maximum), with typical CMOS-compatible input thresholds of 0.8V (max) for V_IL and 2V (min) for V_IH. Its tri-state feature makes it suitable for bus-oriented systems, where each flip-flop is edge-triggered on the rising clock (CP).
